Watch out for the meter not working, the film advance not working, the shutter not working (unfortunately, this will pass casual inspection), and the meter (if it works) not shutting off. According to my repair guy, the MX meters are failure prone based on age. Apparently the electronics don't age well. The shutter curtain threads are prone to stretching and falling off their pulleys. The film advance mechanism can get loose (sometimes an easy fix, just pull the bottom plate and tighten the bolt on the bottom of the film take up spool). The meter not shutting off is a bit more of a job, as the front cover under the shutter button needs to be pulled off and the length of the shutter actuator bar has to be adjusted.
