I will let you guys know when and if I get answers.
I don't think there's much JOBO can do about it, the camera simply doesn't signal the GPS.
If there is a way I'd be very interested. I have previously tried to fire a slaved camera using RF triggers this way (such that a stationary camera on a tripod would take a shot from a different angle every time I take one myself). It works great, but not above 1/180 :(
