The PENTAX-D FA MACRO 100mmF2.8 WR is the first PENTAX interchangeable
macro lens featuring a completely rounded diaphragm blade. This
creates a natural, beautiful bokeh, while minimizing the streaking
effect of point light sources.

What a bunch of retards.
How about a fast standard lens? Wouldn't that make a bit of sense over
another macro?
How about something between 21 and 31mm? Gee, what a concept, lets make
something that is actually useful that we don't have in the lens line.
Instead we get beautiful bokeh.
They could have just dropped a new diaphram into the D-FA 100/2.8 macro and
then built something that people want.
One small consolation I suppose, it isn't another wide to short tele zoom. I
was expecting that more than another macro lens.
Twits, the lot of them.
