Either. Both. Among others. Any community of fanatics, of whatever
stripe. It may reflect my "upbringing" more than anything else, but
I've found many of the PETA people to be among the wackiest I've ever
met, in /any/ environment, for or against /any/ cause.
However, cephalopods "using tools" (in the strict, biology research
sense) is a pretty amazing thing, witnessed only recently for the first
time and reported this week.
