Each to their own, the lack of focus point indicators in my K-x is of no consequence to me as I've turned them off in every camera I own. Firstly I find them highly distracting, I find auto AF spot selection completely unpredictable and manually changing AF spots slow, tedious and disruptive of my shooting style. I've heard the theories but the focus/recompose problem but it's the way I work (with fast glass, centre point only) and I rarely experience focus errors (when the AF system can keep up with the subject).
