Old enlargers can make great copystands. I recall my Minox Enlarger II
had a bracket accessory that was specifically designed to allow you to
reverse the head and use the Minox camera on it this way.

Mm, not really. It's way too bright, number one, and unless it's a
diffuser type it will not work particularly well. Also, all that heat
will be come up through the optical system and into the slide or
negative. There's also the question of how to mount it.

A standard or flat panel light box does an excellent job. The flat
panel light box runs very cool and leaves plenty of room for
manipulating the camera, lens and film.
