Stan wondered how a wider crop of my earlier PESO might look, and for the "benefit" (such as it is) of Stan and possibly others who might have been curious (but might not have looked back at the original thread to see this one), here's our cellist friend with more back- and foreground:
http://knarfdummyblog.blogspot.com/2010/03/cellist-on-augusta-wider-crop.html I cropped from a different photo that I took seconds before or after the earlier PESO as there were fewer "offensive bits" in this version. I still think there are to many distractions in this version. I really like environment in street shots, but it has to be part of the story and be aesthetically pleasing - or at least not offensive as this is to my eye. Anyway, comment if you wish, but I'm putting this out there more to contrast with the earlier PESO than anything else. If do prefer this to the "original" http://knarfinthecity.blogspot.com/2010/03/cellist-on-augusta.html I'd be interested to know. thanks, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
