The 7D has essentially identical high ISO performance as the
550D/Rebel T2i. The K-x walks ALL over it at high ISO's because the
Canon's simply stomp over the resolution of detail with their NR.
Yeah, it's clean at 3200. It's also resolving no more than 8-10MP of
detail from that 18MP sensor.
Image quality doesn't sell cameras, megapixel count does.
What was that old adage about horsepower selling cars and torque
