Stop and think - you are scanning a film frame at 2800 ppi (or 4000 ppi), but when
enlarged to print size will be much less that 2800 dpi but more like 360 dpi for an
8x10" print.

Though printers are rated as printing at 1440 or 2880 dpi, the maximum accepted input
to my knowledge is 720 ppi, which is then printed at the 1440 or 2880 dpi by means of
the printer driver.

| This sounds quite good, but what printer to print at 2800 dpi?
| I have look at the epson 1290 an it is exactly what I need but
| it prints at only 1440 :(
| I think Canon have a printer that does 2880, but without the features
| of the Epson
|
| Kind regards
