This guy was the traveling companion of the buck I showed yesterday.
He's spotted me and is getting ready to bolt. Seconds later, he was
running through the thicket. The fellow who manages the nature reserve
told me that young bucks frequently travel in pairs at this time of
year. Looking for babes, I presume.
K7, A400/5.6 @ 1/640th, AF 540 flash in hi-speed synch mode with
Xtender. ISO 800. Handheld of course. The flash is just enough fill to
soften the neck shadows a bit.
