I have a Nazi battle flag that i found in the rafters of a garage in Chicago.
When I taught a survey course to seniors in a Chicago high school that was
meant to meld some humanist thinking with basic social science , I brought the
flag in for a discussion about rampant nationalism and the roots of naziism.
It's about ten by six feet with an iron cross in the corner and a swastika in
the middle. Bright red of course. The kids understood, but some other teachers
freaked.
