Thanks Rick. An interesting point. I don 't know if I could have gotten the flowers to pop out as powerfully against the background with diffused flash, but it's worth a try. This was essentially a grab shot, but I might try it again if the begonias cooperate. At the moment, they're suffering from five 90 degree plus days in a row.
