Christine, I agree with everything you say (except that I haven't tried the 
various filters; just shooting RAW).  I'm at about 1100 exposures on my K7, and 
it's beginning to feel "normal".

The only K10D function I wish the K7 had was switching back to the center AF 
sensor by pressing the AF button.
