Christine, I agree with everything you say (except that I haven't tried the various filters; just shooting RAW). I'm at about 1100 >exposures on my K7, and it's beginning to feel "normal".

The 1st couple of days, the K7 felt so NOT normal, I was actually thinking of sending it back. goofy, I know.

The only K10D function I wish the K7 had was switching back to the center AF sensor by pressing the AF button.

I'm more used to the *pressing the OK button* for selective focusing, but in the beginning, yikes, drove me nuts, now I'm much better.

I have a soft spot for the K10D because some favorite pics were shot with that camera. Also, I think the DA* 50-135mm & the K10D was a great combination. Admittedly, this is a sentimental view because it was with this combination that I really started to improve my skills. Though, I have to say, when I hear the shutter of the K10D these days, I cringe :-). Still, despite it's shortcomings, the K10D was/is a good camera. Cheers, Christine
