No more, that is. With the K20D and the K-7 they obviously had very good
reasons not to let us see just how inferior their sorry excuse of a
Samsung sensor really is.

It could be switched off in all Pentax DSLRs with Sony sensors before,
so there's hope it will be again. Unless the marketing guys at Hoya
decide that a digital fingerpaint filter is higher on their list of
priorities. :-/ 

It won't matter for me, anyway. I've sunk my money in a K-7 and shan't
be able to afford a K-5 for a long time.
