They'll be trained during the afternoon of September 20 and then let lose on the public on Sept 21. They're paying 145 euros per 10-hour-day (about 100 euros after social security contributions and income tax) and they're even providing the ticket to get onto the fare grounds which also doubles as a tram ticket to get there.
