I think the lower level of conversation is due mainly to the more frequent releases. A new Pentax camera used to come once every decade or so -- well a bit more often than that but not by much. Now they come every 18 months or so. Those who are waiting for a 24 x 36 sensor to converse, will be mum for some time to come. I expect there will be more D-5 conversation once some of us get our hands on it.
