Bill, Hope you get your K5 back and pleased that you liked the 645D.
Here's my overarching question, one that you can't probably answer authoritatively, after a one-time hands-on: Is the 645D any more than a K7 with a sensor that's closed to 3x the size? Not that it isn't appealing... I certainly see the attractiveness of even that, image quality wise. Maybe that's been the state of the camera business all along. Back in the film days (the film days) a MF body was not much more than a bigger box to hold a larger film. With digital, the analog (no pun intended), may be the body is not much more than a bigger box to hold a larger sensor. If resolution trumps all on the technical side, then given the K7's electronics, the 645D itself could prove to be quite good. At the price though, half of what I paid for my last 1-yr old vehicle, + complement of lenses... hmm. If we traded two wives in for the camera would you split it 50/50 with me? LOL.
