Sometimes, the owners manuals that come with these devices are correct :-)
I had a plugged black jet that even repeated head cleanings wouldn't unplug
on my EX. Owners manual says to replace the ink cartridge when those
happen. Too stubborn to do that, I waited until the ink cartridge ran out.
The jet started working immediately after the new cartridge was installed.
Perhaps the new cartridge priming sequence did the trick?
