That is something I (personally) don't care about. To my luck, I had my share of problems with K and M lenses and presently I have no lenses that don't have KA contacts. For these lenses the missing aperture lever can safely continue to be so.

The aperture lever isn't the mythical aperture simulator, every K mount lens, (except mirror telephotos), has an aperture lever to this very day.
