I agree with Christine. When I was in Chicago Bob S allowed me to use his 16-45/4 and it was really excellent experience - both ergonomics and IQ.

Unless you /really/ need that extra stop of DA* 16-50, DA 16-45/4.0 is a gem of a lens.
