Don't know what you mean by "selected." How does smugmug differ from Flickr or
photo.net? I don't object to your methodology, just curious.
well, any methodology has generally been reactive; i've generally nixed
a feed when its volume got too high, and flicker photostreams have
tended to do that more than smugmug; it probably comes down to the
individual users' behavior; when the volume is lower, it feels as if the
feed contains "selected" photos, those someone chose to share
i guess as a heads up anyone who tries following all the feeds i listed,
you'll occasionally get a flood from some specific sites; i certainly
haven't viewed every photograph in such cases, but overall i've found it
an interesting way to keep up with the list, and thought it would be
worth sharing at year's end
