I agree Igor, but combined with the high Isos K5 and such can deliver
this is less important than before (I do NOT mean unimportant). The
only thing you a fast lens delivers and can't be compensated for
correctly is DOF. The rest can be. Is it desirable or not etc. is a
different matter.

I'm the first o play with my FA50/1.4, Sigma28/1.8 and DA*50-135 etc
so I myself use a couple fast lenses. But IMO Pentax decided (and no,
I do not agree) that fast lenses were not a priority anymore when you
can push Iso so easily.

A pity...
