I just think they are contrived and tacky - they have absolutely no
visual appeal to me at all and are even more offensive than people
dressing up cats and dogs in silly clothing... they weirded me out.

"Tacky" is a good word.
They don't weird me out, but the images appear to me to be derivative of
Anne Geddes. I'm not a fan of her work either. Nor of William Wegman.
