Fortunately Tokyo seems not to have been too badly hammered; the real
battering, mostly tsunami, up north. Have heard from my Google
colleagues that their Roppongi-hills office was shaken badly but is
still functional aside from no elevators.  The trains aren't running;
anyone who's spent time in Tokyo is shaking their heads trying to
imagine how that plays out, since they take 12 million or people or so
to work and back every day.
