One of the few times I shot Kodachrome (I've probably done about 6 rolls in my life) was when I was going to a Rolling Stones concert in Hamburg, W Germany (1982). I had borrowed a friend's 210mm zoom lens because I just KNEW I was going to be way back from the stage. "Stadium seating" meant: get there early, be close. Get there late, be in back. However - the unusually-warm temperatures that summer had the audience dropping out like flies and I just kept shifting forward to fill the gaps. By the time Mick and the boys hit the stage I was in the front row, on a sunny day, with a telephoto lens and crisp, sharp slide film. I can read the engravings on Keith's guitar and make out the teeth on his skull ring. I was pleased. It's still a bear to scan, though. -Charles -- Charles Robinson - charl...@visi.com Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org http://www.facebook.com/charles.robinson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
