Another article I found cited Stony Brook North mobile home park, off
Brentwood Rd in Raleigh. At least three killed, all children, and
about half of the 200 trailers are considered unlivable.

Glad to hear that you weren't directly affected! I had been
wondering. Meg has friends in Raleigh who reported that there was
tornado damage "6-8 blocks away" but I couldn't begin to tell you
where they are.

Haven't been able to get any real news.

Stony Brook is about a mile and a half from here. That's probably the one I heard.

I've since gotten some additional information from the local NPR station by way of the BBC. Shaw University - about 3 miles south of me - got hit hard and is shutting down for the rest of the semester.

From what I can figure out, most of the rest of the severe damage is down in eastern NC; east of I-95.
