This is pretty crazy local news coverage of a rain-wrapped tornado coming almost directly at the camera: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srwtn-Zjv_E You can see power flashes as the embedded tornado shorts-out transformers on power poles.
The building where the camera is located is about 8 blocks south of my house. The 4 lane road right in the center of the video is South Saunders St.
Shaw University is just a little to the left of the BB&T building shown in the video.
