Wow!  Rough question.  There will probably be as many answers as
there are people.  My opinion, and it's just that, *my opinion*,
is that it is never wrong to leave a mechanical shutter
un-cocked.  And, if it's left un-cocked, there is no better or
worse shutterspeed.  Un-cocked is un-cocked.
