Well I'd been thinking about leaving for a while so it's just the kick in the rear that I needed. I'd much rather look upon it as an opportunity :) It's actually a lot easier for me than it is for my colleagues who are busy negotiating the terms of their new contracts. I'm doing what I can to provide them with moral support and advice where I can (my 2 cents worth anyway). Thanks to everyone for the comments. It's certainly been an interesting ride so far. > I haven't heard any further reports of quakes - so I suppose that's a > good thing... Where have you been? :) There was one in Victoria of all places the other day. <http://www.smh.com.au/environment/big-victorian-tremor-rocks-gippsland-suburbs-20110705-1gzzf.html> There was a 6.5 just west of Taupo yesterday but it was so deep that no damage was caused despite being felt over a very wide area. It's been pretty quiet down here, a couple of small nudges but nothing I'd consider notable. Here's hoping it stays that way.
