Hello Bob, have you tried direct import from the K5 with a USB cable? I would suspect your Card Reader or your SDHC Card itself. I have found one instance where the contacts were bad. Can you borrow a card reader from friends - everyone seems to have one these days - and a new Extreme Sandisk SDHC card. I trust nothing but Sandisk. Finally if nothing works, reset your K5 to factory settings, shut down, remove the battery 2 mins, insert back, on camera, take few shots, then import the photo to your computer.
