I pulled it into photoshop and cropped it a lot to get rid of the
burnt out stuff... but that loses the tail so it's not really "better"
I think this of yours is better than earlier...
Did he give you a bit of a rattle btw?

I've cranked the saturation up a bit to get closer to Larry's
rendering, and rotated the image slightly to level the head.
I've also done a small amount of local adjustment on the face.
