I agree. Let's see some photos.

One thing that does interest me is the Foveon's lower requirements for CPU power
in cameras that use it (because you don't have to do all those calculations to
create full color pixels from those individual red, green and blue sensors).
Speed may benefit - though with Canon getting 8fps from the EOS-1D that may be a
moot point - but there's really potential for smaller camera size and much
reduced power consumption and therefore increased battery life. If the images
really are better than from *comparably priced* CCD or CMOS systems, that'll be
icing on the cake.

So I don't expect the Foveon to be the end-all and be-all of digital imaging
chips, but I do see it as yet another important paving stone in a road leading
inexorably in one direction...
