I took several (in fact more than several) shots of the misty skyline that morning, including one with a passing kayaker. That one was with a 200mm lens, so the skyline is much closer (and less effective, IMHO). This one was with a 90mm, and balances water and city much better to my eye. Plus, unlike the 200mm shot, the calm among the lightly rippled water is more evident, which I really like. The ducks are really just a compositional point, but I prefer with them there. All in all I'm happy with the result, and I'm glad you are too! Hope all's well with you. We just came out of a long weekend (Canadian Thanksgiving) and the weather was gorgeous - I think my photographs from the weekend tend to reflect the relaxed long weekend vibe. ;-) cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
