FYI I scanned both sides of my Visa card nearly 10 years ago when purchasing a lens from B&H. The strip worked fine afterwards. My newest card has a chip on it. Damn things take about 10 times as long to process transactions even though the process is pretty much the same (but insert instead of swipe).
