I remember you telling me how much you like that lens! And a couple of times since then, I've been ready to pull the trigger, and... I see a fresh batch of mixed reviews, and I stop. Beyond that, I don't love the external zoom... The weather sealing is nice, but... really, I'm not much for rainy hikes.
