62mm about 2 inches 51mm long. I want to use it on my Vivitar S1
70-210mm lenses on APS-C sensor cameras. The Takumar lens hood for
150mm f4.0 serves admirably when using the F 70-210mm on an APS-C
camera, and is roughly that long, so I figure I can't go too wrong.
Anybody know of a source for such a thing? Almost all of the affordable
lens hoods I've found seem to be 4.1mm long designed for a roughly 70mm
lens on a 35mm film body. but maybe somebody here knows of one.

Don't lose heart! They might want to cut it out, and they'll want to avoid a
