Yes, I believe that's one of the 1.6 inch long hoods that were
originally meant for 70mm or 70-210mm lenses. It's hard to tell from
the photos, sometimes the sellers fool with the image to make the hood
appear longer, but the description tells it all.

if you find one let me know; i assume this is too short:

The Takumar lens hood for 150mm f4.0 serves
admirably when using the F 70-210mm on an APS-C camera, and is
roughly that
long, so I figure I can't go too wrong. Anybody know of a source for
such a
thing? Almost all of the affordable lens hoods I've found seem to be
4.1mm long
designed for a roughly 70mm lens on a 35mm film body. but maybe
somebody here
knows of one.
i just discovered that a Takumar 28/3.5 rectangular hood (the only
piece of pentax gear i inherited from my stepfather) fits my newly
acquired FA 28/2.8 well — it compression fits to the outside of the
barrel, and i understand it could be narrower, but it does offer
protection and some flare control

Don't lose heart! They might want to cut it out, and they'll want to avoid a
lengthily search.
