The other thing you have to watch out for is that everything you install now wants to add its own search toolbar to your browser.

Some of them don't ask nicely so you have the option of declining or they hide the check box so you won't know to un-check it.

You can disable the auto-updates.  I've stayed at V5.  I see no reason
to upgrade every three months.

Go to Tools | Options | Advanced tab | Update tab | Unselect Firefox.

The last time I did an upgrade I could then no longer get Words with friends
to work, for one thing.

So I keep saying "no thanks"

but my questionis - if they are going to "automatically upgrade" it anyway,
why the hell are they asking me if I want it???
