It wasn't about the athletes even then. What annoys me about the Olympics is not the commercialism but the whiff of idealism it still tries to cloak itself in. In my opinion, anything that calls itself a movement has more in common with what the medical establishment calls a movement than anything else.

Ain't never going to happen again in this lifetime. If you want to see Olympics that's actually about the athletes, invent a time machine and go back to ancient Greece.
