Hello Alex, I own the Sigma 24-70 2.8 EX.   This lens fit my situation
extremely well.   It is inexpensive, nice and wide (24mm) and after shooting
some film it produces some excellent images.   I even shot directly into the
late afternoon sun and I did not get any flare whatsoever.   I only got a
beautiful star effect.   So far it has exceeded my expectations.
