Hello Alex, I don't have experience with the Sigmas, and I also don't have the specific Tokina you mentioned. What I have is Tokina AT-X270 Pro (28-70/2.8), which is really good.
The best thing I found with Tokina is its build quality. And if you use MF cameras, Tokina is even better than Pentax. Its MF feel is quite nice. OTOH, for its build quality, it's very big and heavy, though I don't quite mind.
