Oops, it might've been me, not noticing that tongue...
Either it was obstructed by the other cheek (which is to cheek), 
or it was me, stressing about a big grant proposal that was due yesterday.

As for the danceathones, - there is a 24-hour one for swing dancing
 that has been running annually in Orange county (California) for 7 years.
(2012 will be the 7th)
Their dance-a-thon (which is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) 
is benefiting the City of Hope (Cancer research)

The one in 2006 was one of my first experiences of photographing social 
dances. I just found the link to that old gallery:
