Danny Boy? I only permitted my mother and my first boss out of law school, a jolly Irish-American politician who was then the Governor, to address me as "Danny Boy." I guess when a good argument doesn't come to mind, trying to belittle anyone who disagrees with you might seem like a good idea.
First, it was a jest, aimed at you rather wild statement. Second, I did follow the conversation. Why do you assume that is the only reason anyone could possible fail to agree with everything you say. Third, Microsoft and the computer equipment that can run only on Microsoft software, is a more important rival of Apple than Android. Samsung and Android seem devoid of any ideas other than trying to imitate the iPhone.
