I've only ever owned one piece of NAD gear, and it was an unmitigated disaster. 
 Their first-generation CD player (purchased, I think, in Spring of 1984 to the 
tune of $500) was utter garbage.  Sent in for service 3 separate times… by the 
third time, they had a newer model out which had more features, was more 
reliable, and was cheaper - but they wouldn't let me simply exchange my piece 
of junk lemon.  That was a bummer experience.
