I went out one evening to photograph the Garsdale viaduct, another beautiful 
piece of Victorian engineering and construction:

Of course, I wanted something to give it some movement or scale.  I lingered 
for about a half hour.  A man walked by, but went the wrong way.  A train, 
maybe?  No train, not even a distant whistle.

So after a half hour, with light fading and getting cold, I headed back to the 
inn.  Halfway back, on a bridge across the road:
