A 300 can be an excellent portrait lens sometimes. Here's one taken
with my K10-D and the Sigma 300/2.8 - but it's not my photo. It was
taken at GFM 2007 with my camera and lens but not by me. I have no
idea who grabbed my camera and got this shot, but it's a fine portrait
of Doug Brewer:
