But the FA 43 f/1.9 just doesn't seem to inspire the fervor, neither here nor on ebay, that the original pancake does, so maybe the 3mm longer and the f/1.9 aperture just doesn't equate to a genuine pancake lens. Perhaps folks want their lenses small and soft, relatively speaking, because the pancake is not anywhere close to as good as the FA 43 f/1.9 in performance.
