If  you want 180 why not flip the mode to sync or manual? You can set whatever 
shutter speed you want in manual except on internal flash or if you were say 
using a p-ttl compatible flash. When I use a flash I usually  just  use sync 
and adjust the flash output/aperture.  Shutter speed doesn't matter unless you 
are trying to mix ambient light which multisegmented metering will give you. If 
you put an m lens on and flip the flash it should default to 180. Any modern 
lens will engage p-ttl if available. (Sorry if I'm wrong anywhere here....just 
how I remember it being....)
