It sounds odd. The oddity not in the behavior with the "A" lens, but in the behavior with the FA lens: if the camera is in P setting, it shouldn't go to such a slow shutter speed when it senses the flash being ready. Typically, when the flash is on and ready, both, k7 and K5 are trying to set the shutter speed to 80 or 100. Collin: There are only two occasions when I see my K-7 sets such a low shutter speed when an external flash is attached: 1. when the flash is not ready (not charged yet), and 2. when the hot-shoe contacts are not properly aligned, and so, the body doesn't confirm the existence/readiness of the flash. Since you are saying it happens with the internal flash too, - the hot-shoe is not a problem.... I am just guessing: could it be that the camera battery is low and when you attached FA lens and the body starts focusing, the charge is not sufficient and that affects the setting?
